A captivating performance in which Black and Afro-diasporic dancers transform their personal stories into movement.

Over the course of six months, the group trained intensively, conducted research, and collaboratively developed their own dance language that blends the traditional with the modern—born of individual experiences, collective strength, and artistic exchange.
This performance marks the culmination and festive conclusion of the Black Dance Berlin project.

Black Dance Berlin explores how the traditional dances of the Orixás are reimagined and further developed in a contemporary context.
